In two separate incidents, two girls committed suicide by hanging themselves.
The girls left no suicide notes to explain the drastic step taken by them and both families were left confused.
The first incident happened around 9.15 pm in which a 14-year-old school girl, Vaishali Motilal Singhvi was found hanging from the kitchen fan at Katraj's Sukh Sagar Nagar.
Sahakar Nagar police officials, who were at the morgue waiting for her autopsy report said Singhvi was alone at home at the time of incident.
"Her brother had gone for tuitions and when he came back he found the door locked from inside. He tried a lot to get her to open the door but when she didn't, he called the neighbours," said a constable.
The neighbours peeped into the house saw her body hanging from the ceiling fan in the kitchen. It was learnt that her father died when she was young.
Second incident
The second incident was reported to Swargate police station. Suvaran Digambar Varvate (25) was found hanging from the ceiling fan of the bedroom.
Her brother said, "She had moved the city to get a job.We have no idea why she did it. She had not mentioned any problems. "
