Who doesn't know the feeling of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time? Well, everyone — including Bollywood stars, who so fluently and impeccably deliver elaborate lines on-screen. But the fact that every word and action of theirs is documented, given the constant media scrutiny, makes it only worse. Be it during film promotions, at public appearances or chat shows, a few actors found themselves way off the mark while putting their thoughts into words. hitlist gives you a lowdown on some of the weirdest statements made by B-Town folk this year.
She is famously known as Bollywood's fashion icon and infamously as Bollywood's motor mouth. On many occasions, Sonam tried injecting humour into her comments or be too concerned but it often backfired. The statement below takes the cake.
Quote unquote: "People (who) make so-called art films, why do you have to take like not-nice-looking people? Like why? Doesn't make sense, and just that they don't look good does not mean they are good actors!"
Prior to the release of his 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', the young actor was rumoured to be dating his co-star Alia Bhatt. And even if it were true, haven't you heard love is blind? At times, it is dumb too. And when Varun heaped a loaded praise on Alia, comparing her to a Hollywood legend, we couldn't help but cringe.

A daughter is generally the apple of her father's eye but that doesn't mean the latter should lose sight of the happenings around him. Unfortunately, this veteran star did.

Known as one of the most mischievous young actors around, he made more news for the bromance with his friend and co-star, Ranveer Singh, than for his chemistry with actresses this year.

Self-praise is a good way to keep oneself motivated. But, this Bong beauty, who has been struggling to make a comeback, took it a little too far by giving herself a grand title.
With reference to her upcoming supernatural film 'Alone', Bipasha Basu went on a self-praise mode. Talking about her 14-year-old career, she said she rightfully deserved the title of 'Horror Queen of Hindi Film Industry'
Quote unquote: "I have been acting in films since the past 14 years and I have a large filmography. Yes, I have done a huge number of horror films and people call me the 'Horror Queen Of Hindi Film Industry' rightfully."
Don't we know of a particular kind of carpenters which always blames his tools? This actor, who has had a not-so-successful career in films, decided to blame it on some wrong choices he has made.
