Put on your art-walking shoes
Art season has set in, and there are reasons aplenty to head out there. We pick four exhibitions and one arts festival to mark into your diaries right away
Measure | Decipher
At his first solo exhibition, Pratap Morey examines the city he has lived and worked in —Mumbai. Morey uses a combination of digital photographic images, architectural drawings and engravings in his intricate paper-works. Each work delves into the construction, redevelopment and displacement that we see around us in maximum city. So, whether it’s corrugated sheets, walls pasted with plastic or water pipelines, all of these are reincarnated in paper and drawings with Morey. While this should be an absolute delight for architects and urban thinkers, Morey’s unusual cityscapes will surely resonate with every city-dweller.

Lines by Fiorenze Senese
A tribute to the most elemental aspect of photographs — the line — Italian fine art photographer Fiorenze Senese’s second solo in the city puts the mundane in extraordinary light. His works creatively look at our routine lives that revolve around human structures, be it bridges, cables or rails. So, the London Metro becomes a collection of coloured cables, and car roofs become more than just plain slates.
