26 year-old dies in his sleep in burning tempo

Bharat Sawant, a 26 year-old tempo cleaner, died at Andheri at 2.30 am on Saturday after the parked tempo in which he was sleeping caught fire

Bharat Sawant, a 26 year-old tempo cleaner, died at Andheri at 2.30 am on Saturday after the parked tempo in which he was sleeping caught fire. Police suspect that the eight-month-old tempo caught fire after an unknown employee of a nearby call centre threw a lit cigarette towards the tempo. For now, the police have registered a case of accidental death.
