The process of retreiving the bodies was delayed as there wasn't adequate fuel to run the JCB machine.
The bodies, however, were retrieved around 1.30 am by the fire services personnel and the police, who worked in tandem with the relatives of those trapped in the rubble.
According to the police and the fire services personnel, the wall collapsed due to pressure exerted by sand and other construction material which were stored next to the compound wall.
