The trip certified

Heathrow Airport, London
Heathrow boasts of options across each of its five terminals including coffee shops, bars and pubs, healthy food options, gourmet dining and even food on the go. A common option across all five terminals is the Caviar House and Prunier Sea Food Bar, where one can find Balik Smoked Salmon and Prunier Caviar.

Terminal 3 has the Brasserie Chez Gerard for delicate French cuisine; it also houses O'Neill's, which has come to be known as the biggest Irish bar in the world.

When Chef Gordon Ramsay extended his brand to Terminal 5, it was one of the most anticipated restaurant launches. Fully booked most times, one needs to make reservations here. However, after eating the Rib Eye Steak and Chicken Liver Parfait you'll be floating.

Changi Airport, Singapore

Singapore is knows as a foodie paradise and the food trail begins at the airport. The Crystal Jade Shanghai restaurant at Terminal 3 is a popular destination that offers Cantonese cuisine such as La Mian; Xiao Long Bao the restaurant also does Congee, Noodles and Dim Sums.

Sakae Sushi at Terminal 2 and 3 offers a range of sushi on conveyor belts and freshly flown in Sashimi.u00a0 For authentic Singapore cuisine head to Prima Taste at Terminal 3 for crispy Soft Shell Chilly Crabs, Pork Ribs and Laksa. For a fishy experience, head to Fish and Co. at Terminal 2 -- here the food is served Mediterranean style, in a pan.

Logan Airport, Boston

Logan Airport has a flourishing food court concept, but also a number of great restaurants. The best part is that the prices here are reasonable and one can eat cheaper at the outlet in the airport than at the same restaurant downtown in Boston.

At Terminal B is Celebrity Chef Todd's English restaurant, Bonfire, an upscale steakhouse. Some interesting menu choices include Brazilian Churrasco Tenderloin and Paella with Chorizo and Lobster.

Terminal C has Jerry Remy's Sports Bar and Grill, where one can get classic pub food. The thing to order is the famous jumbo hot dog 'RemyDawg'. Other options include Wolfgang Puck Gourmet Express where one can tuck into gourmet sandwiches, salads and thin crust pizza and the Legal Sea Foods Restaurant in Terminal C for New England Clam Chowder.
