If you haven't even heard about 'Westworld', you must have been living under the rock because there can be no better explanation to that! The most anticipated show of the season and possibly the one to be most talked about for years to come, 'Westworld' is being raved about by critics internationally and here a few reasons why you must watch the show when it premieres in India on Star World Premiere HD this Tuesday, October 4th at 10 PM!

1. It is based on an legendary film
'Westworld' is based on Michael Crichton's 1973 movie of the same name. Michael Crichton's the guy who also wrote the mega-successful 'Jurassic Park', where dinosaurs run amok in a theme park and start offing people.

2. Jonathan Nolan has created it and JJ Abrams is involved
Yes, Jonathan Nolan and JJ Abrams - two of the smartest brains on the planet. Jonathan Nolan is Christopher Nolan's younger brother who has written the screenplays for thought-provoking, popular movies – 'Interstellar', 'The Dark Knight' series starring Christian Bale, 'The Prestige' and more. Nolan Jr. is also the person who created and wrote the hugely popular television series 'Person of Interest'. His short story 'Memento Mori' served as the basis for the insanely famous movie 'Memento'. JJ Abrams, on the other hand, is the man who reinvigorated the two biggest sci-fi franchises of all time - 'Star Wars' and 'Star Trek'. He is the executive producer on Westworld and if that does not make you go 'Oh My God', we don't know what will.

3. The most amazing cast on a TV show ever!
Yes, the cast is simply put 'epic'! When Anthony 'Hannibal' Hopkins is a drawcard for a show, we know that things are about to get real and solid. Hopkins plays the mastermind – Dr. Robert Ford on the show. Another Academy Award and Golden Globe winner, Ed Harris joins the cast as the iconic gun slinger – The Man in Black along with James Marsden, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton and Evan Rachel Wood. Tessa Thompson, Ben Barnes and Luke Hemsworth will also be part of the cast of the series. The main cast list alone includes 17 names, with plenty more in recurring roles. The cast of the show is set to be one of the biggest on TV; it's also one of the very best.

4. The show will be told from the robots' perspectives
It is not a regular show about robots and humans and the complexities that follow. Instead, it is told from the robots' perspective and is absolutely mind-bending! Led by Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores Abernathy, the AIs will give you an insider's view into what it's like to look and feel like a real person, but to be treated like a product that can be used and abused at will. You can definitely expect things to go off the rails once the AIs wise up to Westworld's deep, dark secrets.

5. There's more to the show than meets the eye
The show, of course, is about robots and humans, humanoids, artificial intelligence and all that comes with it. It certainly falls under the sci-fi thriller genre but there is a lot more to the series than this. The narrative of the show is based on real-world issues and delves into how we humans are dangerously close to creating tech that one day could turn against us as we struggle trying to figure out the meaning of our existence by grasping on to what we believe is real. Is the human race trying to play gods? Can our smart phones one day become smarter than us? It's a multilayered drama full of action, sex, and violence that forces us to think of the bigger picture in the background
