The accused were later identified as Adityashyam Vaibhav Chaturvedi (20), and Ashish Lalchand Shukla (18), both residents of Keshavnagar.

Police inspector Vishwanath Ghanvat said, “The boy, Sumit Parasnath Prasad, also resides in Keshavnagar and was returning home, along with his elder sister, after school when the two accused came on their bike and abducted Sumit.”

“Sumit’s sister raised an alarm and after hearing her cries for help, Azad Gulam Chaudhary, a passer-by started chasing the duo. We managed to nab Shukla first and then Chaturvedi. They have confessed to the crime,” he added.
