Former PMT driver also molested 13-year-old at her home on three occasions, say police
A 68-year oldu00a0man has been arrested for the rape of a 13-year-old girl in Manjari near Haveli.
Accused Jagannath Vaman Undre (68), a former PMT driver, used to visit the girl's home often, said the police.
The crime took place around 7 pm on March 3 at the girl's home.
As the girl's farmer parents would be out working for most of the day, the police said Undre took advantage of the situation to land up at the girl's place every now and then. They said he tried to lure the girl with money and molested her for three days before the rape.

to the terrace of her home and raped her.
Girl breaks silence
The matter came to light when the girl complained of pain to her mother's friend, who eventually wormed out the entire incident from her and informed her father.

The girl's father approached the Lonikand police station and registered a complaint against Undre.
"Undre has been arrested and booked under sections of the IPC dealing with rape and trespassing into a house to commit an offense punishable with imprisonment for life," Police Sub-Inspector Kondhali said.
The officer added that Undre was produced before a court and remanded in police custody till March 14.
