An eight girl has been snapped up by Premier League club Blackburn Rovers after she scored 70 goals in only 14 matches.

Lily Lawson, who loves footie flick 'Bend It Like Beckham', joined a girls' side last year. Now she plays with boys too and has joined Rovers, who have a women's team.

Her dad Paul, of Cleckheaton, West Yorks is thrilled over his daughter's accomplishment. "She loves it," the Sun quoted him as saying.
