Talking about his collection, Singh says, “In this bridal collection, I will be displaying lehengas, sarees, anarkalis and patterned wedding dresses in the most popular colours of the season, such as yellow, pink and aviary. After travelling around the globe, I could see the fascination towards Indian designs among people across the globe. At times we can see a blend of favourite Western colors like white and silver with Indian embroidery on them.”

He adds that in India as well, he noticed a trend where people are more accepting colours like white and silver, which were not considered auspicious earlier. “This way, people are ready for some experimentation. I will be displaying this wedding collection for the first time in Pune in the form of a live show.”

Pune-based designer Nitya Shah, who will be showcasing her collection for the stylish city women, says, “My collection will have a deluge of colours like black, white and gold in fabrics like lycra and georgette. It is designed specially for
stylish women who want to explore their style quotient and are conscious about fashion.”

Along with established names, several newcomers are also geared to showcase their designs during this Style Week. Designers like Mumtaz Khan, Riyaz Ganji and Aslam Khan will be participating on August 17 and August 18 with their theme-based collections. Gracing the Style Week, a Women Achiever Show will be held on August 18.
