If 2011 was eventful for Kate Middleton, 2012 will be positively hectic.
Top of the Duchess's immediate list of priorities will be visits to the four institutions of which she became patron last week and to a local scout group in Wales.

Then there is the matter of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Before that, however, they will also play an active role in the London 2012 Olympics, for which they have been recruited as ambassadors.

The couple are also expected to fit in a visit to Africa at some point during the year, with June the most likely date.
