Shreya who was noticed in Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster (in which she essayed the mistress Mahua) was in for a shock when she saw the film. It was obviously not what Imtiaz had told her about nor did it measure up to what had been shot with her in New Delhi.

Says Shreya, "I am still new in the field and understanding how things work and the star power. Not that I expected anything but what is told and what happens don't match. I am considering this as a learning experience. I know what people without any backing have to go through in the industry."

Her character as Janardhan's (Ranbir Kapoor) brother's wife is shown as someone who likes the young musician. It was a negative role but with comic shades. In one scene she is shown serving food to the guests while in another scene she was shown intentionally bumping into him.

Adds Shreya, "As not much of Janardhan's family members stayed after the edit stage, the bhabhi had to go!" she says. "But shooting in New Delhi was an experience as we kept on laughing throughout the shoot as the family was shown to be quite typical.
