A responsible medium

The one thing about theatre is that it can have an impact on society, since it deals with everyday life.

Actress Lubna Salim acknowledges that theatre is a very interesting medium. Once when she was acting in Humsafar, a play based on relationships, Lubna had a strange experience.

“After the play was over, a lady came and asked me if she can hug me. I said okay and she cried and cried on my shoulder. She told me that she was going through a similar situation as shown in the play and that I have shown her the way.

This means we can affect people so much, so we might as well do a good job. These things keep us in check,” she told CS. u00a0
