New Delhi: Television's new entrant Aakarshan Singh, who essays role of a superhero in show "Maharakshak Aryan", was trained by actor Tiger Shroff's trainer Deepak Das for the role. He says the training regime was tough and arduous.

For Aakarshan, the training was "definitely not easy and required both physical fitness and mental determination."

"There were times when I was required to manage my entire body weight on one hand. I had to make a lot of changes in my diet regime. Though I have used these stunts for a few scenes in the show, the training will stay with me," he said in a statement.

Aakarshan had to do various stunts in the ZEE TV show, ranging from kicks, somersaults, rappelling and jumping off buildings. Hence, Deepak was brought on board.

Aakarshan was apprehensive to take up the martial art coaching initially.

"When the makers told me that I would need to be trained in parkour, to be honest I was a little hesitant as I have had no professional training in the past, but I feel honoured now to have learnt it from the best in the industry," he added.
