Superstar Aamir Khan has wished luck to his nephew Imran Khan and actress Kangana Ranaut for their upcoming romantic-comedy film "Katti Batti".
Aamir, 50, who recently watched the trailer of the Nikhil Advani-directed film, said he is eagerly waiting for the movie to release.
"Hey guys, Imran is back! Can not wait to see your film Imran. Good luck!" he wrote.
The "PK" star took to Twitter again hours after his first tweet to extend his best wishes to the "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" actress.
"Good luck Kangana, for Katti Batti! Can't wait for your next after TWM. Love. a," Aamir tweeted.
Imran and Kangana have teamed up for the first time. The "Delhi Belly" star is portraying a nerd character while Kanagana plays an extrovert girl in the film.
Imran, 32, made his debut with Aamir Khan Productions' "Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na", which was well received at the box-office.
After a series of unsuccessful outings, the actor once again tasted success with "Delhi Belly" backed by his uncle's banner.
The National-award winning actress is on her career's high after giving a power-packed performance in Aanand L Rai's "Tanu Weds Manu Returns".
"Katti Batti", touted as Imran's comeback to the big screen post "Gori Tere Pyaar Main" (2013), is produced by UTV Motion Pictures. It is slated to release on September 18.
