It looks like Faisal Khan has still not given up on his acting pursuits

Aamir Khan's brother Faisal is back in the game

Aamir Khan’s younger brother will be seen in an upcoming film being produced by Rajesh R Jain and directed by Sharique Minhaj, which is based on an Urdu novel.

Faisal Khan

Faisal featured in Vikram Bhatt’s 1994 film Madhosh which was produced by his late father Tahir Hussain. The film failed to launch his career. He then featured with Aamir in Dharmesh Darshan’s Mela in 2000 followed by some forgettable B grade films.

Confirms Jain, “We have already had out meetings with Faisal and have signed him. The film will roll next month.” In the past, Aamir and his father were caught in a legal battle fighting for Faisal’s custody while he was going through medical treatment. Though the court had granted custody of Faisal to the father, Faisal had chosen to live by himself. He had moved out of their Bandra home and shifted to Chembur and later Bandra east.

The brothers later patched up and Faisal returned home and began attending Aamir’s production office. Faisal had created a buzz when reality show producers were keen to sign him as a contestant for Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, which Faisal declined. Earlier, he was to be a part of the second season of Bigg Boss, but apparently at Aamir’s insistence he was dropped from the show to avoid any embarrassment to the star.
