New Delhi: Seeking to corner the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will on Saturday hold protests in Mumbai, Bhopal and Ludhiana against the Vyapam scam.
Meanwhile, the Congress party has also upped the ante against Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan demanding his immediate resignation owing to the recent spate of deaths in connection with the Vyapam scam.
The Supreme Court had earlier this week transferred all cases relating to the Vyapam scam to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
The apex court also issued a notice to the Centre and the Madhya Pradesh Government on the petition demanding the removal of state Governor Ram Naresh Yadav. The court has sought a reply within four weeks.
