Warsaw (Poland): Agnieszka and Urszula Radwanska kept a charitable tradition going this past week, taking part in Szlachetna Paczka — or Noble Box — for the eighth year in a row. "Our Christmas traditions are Christmas Eve wafer and Noble Box! Our main goal is to help the needy," Agnieszka said.

The Noble Box Project — brings aid to needy Polish families who have found themselves in a difficult financial situation. Volunteers go door to door throughout the year compiling a database of families in need, asking them what would help ease the pressures of the holidays.

This year, the Radwanska sisters decided to help an older couple, Ursula and Eugene Kujawsko-Pomorskie.

With Ursula battling cancer and her husband Eugene recently suffering a heart attack, the couple has found themselves struggling to make ends meet as both worked before their health problems.

"We chose to help (Ursula and Eugene) because they are in a difficult situation, not only because of financial problems, but also health," Agnieszka said.

The gifts prepared by Agnieszka and Ula included cleaning supplies, food, as well as special gifts that the sisters wanted to give to the family: perfume and sweets.
