Assam Board (ahsec.nic.in) is all set to announce the AHSEC 12th class exam result 2015 by tomorrow, 30th May 2015 at ahsec.nic.in and resultsassam.nic.in. Students can also check their Assam Board higher secondary (HS) results 2015 at https://assam12.jagranjosh.com/.

As per the information Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) is going to announce the HS or 12th class exam results 2015 by tomorrow at 10 AM. Assam Board 12th class or higher secondary (HS) exam results 2015 will also be published on https://www.jagranjosh.com/results/ahsec-hs-result-2015-12th-96103, official Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) exam result websites ahsec.nic.in and resultsassam.nic.in.

In the year 2014, the class 12th examinations were held in the month of March and the results for the same were announced on 30th May. Approximately 2.5 lacs of students appeared for the higher secondary (HS) examinations. A total of 2,54,860 candidates appeared for the examinations. While 2,08,845 candidates from humanities registered for the examinations where as 27,969 students wrote the examinations from the science stream. The number of candidates who registered from the commerce stream was 16,815. A total of 1232 vocational students also took up the examination. And according to the sources approximately 1, 31,975 boys and 1, 21,681 girls wrote the class 12th higher secondary (HS) examinations for the year 2014.

As far as the importance of these examinations is concerned, it goes without saying that these examinations play an important role in the life of students. This is because the future prospects of the same are highly dependent on these examinations.

The Assam Board of Education was established on 1st June 1984 to regulate, supervise, and develop the system of secondary and higher secondary education. The board of education successfully prescribes the curricular, syllabus, courses of instruction for higher secondary stage. The board of education also offers scholarships to the deserving students. The medium of instruction in the schools in Assam is Assamese, though there are many schools in the state which use English language as their medium of study. English is extensively used to teach in mostly higher education al institutions in the state of Assam.
