Flight operations, on Friday, were affected as Air India commanders resort to 'go slow' to protest exclusion from workmen category.

Two international and twelve domestic flights have been affected in Mumbai, Delhi, Nagpur, Jodhpur and Bangalore as many commanders reported sick.

The commanders are protesting labour ministry decision of excluding commanders from definition of workmen affecting the Delhi and Mumbai operations.

Air India has 650 commanders.

Air India Spokesperson told mid-day stating that Mumbai was the least affected as only two domestic flights were delayed since morning.
