In fact, it has been observed that only Ranbir Kapoor has so far promoted the film in any capacity. Even Anushka Sharma and director Karan Johar are also missing from the scene.
While one speculation is that the controversy generated by the film due to the Pakistani artiste ban row following the Uri attacks, which led to surgical strikes by India, that doesn't seem to be the case.
'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' cast-member Anushka Sharma has been busy shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for Imtiaz Ali's tentatively titled film, 'The Ring'.
Regarding Aishwarya not promoting, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', the makers say that since she has a small role in the film with Anushka Sharma being the leading lady it would be wrong to undertake any promotional activities without both actresses present during the events.
'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is still set to clash with Ajay Devgn's 'Shivaay' at the box-office.
