Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni showered praise on his deputy Virender Sehwag for the latter's world-record feat on Thursday and said that he believed the opener could smash the 200-run barrier in one-dayers.
"Others may have said that there are a few who could score double century in ODIs, but I always believed Viru could always score 200 on his day. With Viru, it's not just about big shots, but calculative batting," Dhoni told PTI.
Dhoni was over the moon with the fact that both the double centurions in the ODIs are Indians. "I'm proud that both Viru and Sachin Paaji are Indians," he said.
