The team arrived yesterday and visited CST and Dadar stations to study the existing security measures.

They will visit Churchgate and Mumbai Central stations today and then draw up a plan for railway security in the city.

According to sources, the American contingent sought information on the terror attacks and wanted to know how the terrorists managed to enter CST.

They were amazed to know the number of people who commute by trains every day. Senior railway officials of Western and Central Railways were tight-lipped and refused to divulge more details.
