Even though his fans keep him alive through his music, 2017 marks three decades since Kishore Kumar succumbed to a heart attack on October 13. Ahead of the veteran playback singer's 30th death anniversary, his son, Amit, will pay tribute to his father with a show titled Amit Kumar Live In Concert.

Kumar, who will donate the funds raised to the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA), says, "My father played a pivotal role in making me the man I am. Performing at this charitable show is the best way to pay homage to him, because the funds will help cancer-afflicted women from economically weak backgrounds. This is also my way of giving back to society. If my music can make an impact on someone's life, I'll be honoured."
Amit's playlist for the October 7 event at Bandra's Rangsharda Auditorium, includes Kishore Kumar's hits, including Phoolon Ke Rang Se and Roop Tera Mastana.
