Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan was yesterday given lifetime membership by Mohammedan Sporting on the sidelines of his visit to one of the oldest football clubs of the country.

Bachchan, who was also felicitated at the club, gave a word to return to the club during their 125th anniversary celebration scheduled to be held later this year.

The actor shot a sequence of his film Teen at the historical club tent today and, taking advantage of the opportunity, Mohammedan Sporting management bestowed on him the honorary lifetime membership.
President Sultan Ahmed announced the beginning of the club's 125th Anniversary Celebrations and invited Bachchan as the chief guest, stated a media release.
