Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says the current generation of actresses are tall, which used to be a rare sight earlier.
The 73-year-old actor, who has shared screen space with young actresses like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan among others, said they are extremely talented.
Asked how different the current breed of actresses is than his generation, Bachchan said, "To begin with, they are taller... They come very well prepared. I love that. Many times we get to learn from them."
Bachchan was in the capital to attend NDTV Indian of the Year award, where he presented his "Piku" co-star Deepika Padukone with actress of the year trophy.
"I admire Deepika's work in 'Piku' and the other actresses too. They are quite remarkable in their choice of films and how they work.
"How wonderfully they keep changing from one subject to another. I have great regards for Deepika. She has proved herself with her every film. With each film, I see an improvement from her previous films she did. I always keep complementing her."
