Charlotte: Anirban Lahiri opened with at least a bogey for the three successive day and will now try to follow what has been a recurring theme this week -- repairing the early damage as the third round of the PGA Championships began on Saturday.

Lahiri who has been able to make amends for the early dropped shots in latter stages of each round, added a bogey on the second to go three-over for two holes and from Tied-43rd after 36 holes, he was Tied-68th after 41 holes. He has 13 more to go. Lahiri shot 72 in the first round and 73 in the second. Lahiri, who kept his head above water despite an errant putter parred three holes in a row after that.

There was no change in the leaderboard for the top-20 places, and the only man making a move was JB Holmes, who was four-under through 11 in the third round after making the cut on the line.

Earlier, when the second round ended Lahiri found himself in the middle of the pack that made the cut. Lahiri followed up his 72 with a 73 that gave him a total of three-over 145 and the tied-43rd place as Hideki Matsuyama and Kevin Kisner, share the lead at eighth-under 134.
