Libyans Ahmed Ali, Naem Ali and Goseria Foress beat up Afghans Mohammad Yasin and Abdul Kalam. Both the victims suffered minor injuries.

“All of them were heavily drunk and fighting when they were arrested around 2 am early Tuesday,” said Krishan Kumar, the investigation officer.

“The Libyans claimed they were part of the rebels who killed Gaddafi. For the last couple of months they were getting medical treatment at the Artemis hospital here and were sent by the Libyan government,” he said.

“They were involved in similar incidents earlier. They were granted bail on the assurance of the Libyan embassy that they would be sent back to their country in a day or two,” Kumar added.

Yasin is an ornament trader while Kalam deals in handlooms. They were staying in a hotel near Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
