Kakatiya University is located in the historical City of Warangal. Kakatiya University was established on 19th August, 1976 to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Telangana Region for higher education. The development of the University over the years has been gradual but impressive. The University was initially accredited with B+ grade by the NAAC in 2002 and reaccredited with 'A' grade in 2008. The University situated in a sprawling area of about 650 acres, has now 28 Departments in seven colleges on the campus with a network of ten constituent colleges and 490 affiliated colleges.
To be Eligibilie for ICET 2014 exam: The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date. The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
The candidates seeking admission in MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying Examination.
The candidates seeking admission in MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
The qualifying Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC. The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET-2014. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies. Qualifying marks in ICET-2014 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted Into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
i. Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned.(For part-time/evening/distance mode).
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned.
Procedure to check AP ICET Result 2014:
- First of all applicants go on to official site at www.apicet.org.in.
- Now go on to “Notice” section and click on that.
- There candidates will find “Andhra Pradesh AP ICET Result 2014” link click on that.
- After that fill your registration no, application no. and birth date.
- Click on submit button.
- Then your Result will be displayed on screen.
