Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia's Cannes outing might clash with Karan Johar's birthday bash
Arjun Rampal and Mehr Jessia may have to skip buddy Karan Johar’s 40th birthday party celebrations. The mega bash to usher in the filmmaker’s birthday (May 25) is being held at a suburban hotel.

The couple is walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. They have to be in the city on the French Riviera on May 25. Moreover, the star is shooting at Pachmarhi and Bhopal for a film and is slated to be back in Mumbai just in time to leave for Cannes.
Says Rampal, “Yes, it is going to be a tight schedule for me. But then work is work. I will be arriving in Mumbai just a day before we leave for Cannes. If time proves a constraint, I will drop in to meet Karan, wish him and then leave. If things permit I may be there for a short while.”
Arjun, who represents a liquor brand, will be attending the festival on their behalf. Wife Mehr will accompany him on the red carpet. “I have been to the Cannes film festival before but this is the first time I am walking the red carpet,” adds Arjun.
Costume drama
In Cannes, Arjun Rampal will be seen in a princely outfit designed by friend Rohit Bal. Mehr will be seen in a Tarun Tahiliani outfit. “Mehr is an old-time Tarun loyalist so she can’t think of wearing anything else,” says Arjun.u00a0
