Arjun Rampal grows a beard, not for a film role but to give a commercial the real look
Arjun Rampal has gone for an image makeover. The actor has of late been spotted in a fuzzy look. He has a full-grown beard something the actor has not been seen with in recent times.u00a0Most B-Town stars grow facial fuzz to get into the character for a film. But Arjun has chosen to do so for an ad film! Instead of resorting to any make-up and cosmetic techniques, he decided to grow the beard to give the commercial a real feel.

Says a source, “He was in Istanbul last week shooting the ad for a brand he endorses. As he had to be seen in a distinct look something unlike his B-Town outings, he opted for a beard. The rugged feel of the ad, Arjun decided to grow a beard especially for the shoot.u00a0Adds the source, “Ad campaigns with stars are shot glamorously nowadays but Arjun chose to keep it real. It was shot like a short film instead of a commercial.”
The crew involved included photographer Bharat Sikka and director Shimit Amin among others.u00a0Arjun who has Prakash Jha’s film up for release is still flaunting his facial fuzz. Looks like he is in no hurry to reach out for a razor till he begins shooting for Nikhil Advani’s film.
One plus one
Arjun Rampal is one lucky man! Buzz is that while on the shoot of an ad in Istanbul, the actor was offered another endorsement. Apparently, the representatives of a men’s personal health care brand were present in the Turkish capital when they saw Arjun prepping for his shoot.
