Sip from a bouquet of 16 world class, award-winning wines at a unique tasting experience
Buying international wines is a tricky process. You might just end up burning a huge hold in your wallet in case you discovered your aversion to a thick red or a cider-laced wine.
To ease your woes Juben Wine Cellar and Tasting Room and Enomatic have organised a wine tasting event, which will feature 16 wines recommended by the European wine magazine Decanter that made it to the 2011 Decanter World Wine Awards.
The Decanter Awards rate wines into categories including golden, silver, bronze or commendable after a rigorous judging process.
Throughout October Juben Wine Cellar will provide you an opportunity to taste a bouquet of 16 wines (15 international + 1 Indian) where wine buffs can stop by every fortnight to sip on from a choice of eight distinct wines.
"The wines have been chosen for their appeal to the Indian palate and include fruity, fresh and soft wines which is what the Indian wine-lovers look out for," said Satyam Savla, MD of Juben Wine Cellar and Tasting Room.
While Savla and his team will be at hand to take you through the process of choosing an appropriate wine, he admits that it's a subjective process and one needs to judge for themselves. You can enjoy a sip of eight wines by paying Rs 500 or choose specific ones priced between Rs 35 to Rs 125 for 25 ml.
"It's a safer bet since if you buy an entire bottle, it will cost you at least Rs 1,500 and you may not even like the flavour," he concludes.
From October 3-15 and October 16 -31
