Arsenal, Manchester United target Aubameyang but he 'dreams' of playing for Real Madrid

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has handed a blow to Premier League clubs by admitting he dreams of playing for Real Madrid.

The Borrussia Dortmund man has been in sensational form this time attracting interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.United are particularly interested and are said to be readying a £60m bid for his services this summer.

But Aubameyang, who is contracted to Dortmund until 2020, admits it has always been his wish to ply his trade in the Spanish capital.

"My childhood dream was to play for Real Madrid," he told L'Equipe ."I promised my grandfather, who was from Avila some 110 kilometers away from Madrid, that I would play there. I realize that it will not be easy, but is always in the back of my mind.

"I watched a lot of Hugo Sanchez videos when I was still a child. The somersault I sometimes do to celebrate a goal is a homage to him."Playing for Real Madrid, or even another big Spanish club, would also be a great gift for my mother."

Dortmund vs Leverkusen suspendedBorussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen match suspended. Aubameyang continued his fine season with the winner in Dortmund's controversial clash with Leverkusen on Sunday.

Leverkusen boss Roger Schmidt was furious the goal stood and protested with referee Felix Zwayer, who walked off and suspended the game due to his complaints. The result moved Dortmund within eight points of Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich. Would Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang be a good signing for Manchester United?
