Arsenal skipper Fabregas taunts Manchester City after Gunners' 3-0 away win

Derek Boyata was given his marching orders after just five minutes when he felled Marouane Chamakh. From then on, despite Manchester City giving a good account of themselves, Arsenal took control and a goal each from Samir Nasri, Alex Song and Nicklas Bendter gave the Londoners all three points.

"We knew we couldn't make a mistake (like Boyata did with getting sent off) because then it would be been 10 against 10 and their crowd would have been against them and it would have been very difficult," Fabregas told Sky Sports.

"We stayed composed the entire game. We were fantastic. Even if they (had) 15 men and we only had 11, we would still win. We always want to win. The way we played today it would have been very difficult to stop us. I think we played some outstanding football at times. It is a good victory against a good team."

The victory is a boost for the entire team after run of poor results. But Fabregas refused to get into a discussion regarding where this leaves Arsenal in the title race.

"Chelsea are looking very strong but they still have to play a lot of the big teams," the midfielder added.
