If you fancy handcrafted products, then head straight to Kahawa Art Gallery at Kareem Towers on Cunningham Road. The gallery, run by Nishi Rehman, promotes young and upcoming designers. Devaru artistes from Sagar present Chittara art, which was originally done on walls in houses, using burnt rice and natural dyes. Deepak Thimmayah, a TV anchor, and Sharad Bhardwaj from Rajasthan, exhibit their oil paintings.
Kahawa showcases jewellery, garments, sarees, stoles, decorative pieces and accessories, wooden figurines, paper lamps, wall hangings, masks, mats, bags, footwear, candle stands, cushion covers and trays.
