Art, craft & gaming for your little ones
The Landmark Summer Carnival brings a host of fun and out-of-the box events to spice up your child's week
Summer sees a lot of parents scurrying for activities that will invigorate the minds of their little ones. This season Landmark is hosting a Summer Carnival for kids at both its outlets in Infiniti Mall, Andheri and Inorbit Mall, Vashi. There are a plethora of activities, ranging from storytelling sessions, contests and art and craft workshops, to choose from.
The Camlin World Colouring Day Contest will be held today for children aged between three and 12 at Andheri. This will be followed by the Kinect Gaming Challenge on the XBox on May 11 for all age groups and the Beyblade Challenge, where kids will compete in a spinning top challenge. This event is for children above five years on May 12 at the same venue. Art events Crayola Croyon and Colouring Competition will also be held on the same day.
At Vashi, Around the World in Seven Stories, a storytelling event where children explore the seven continents of the world with one story every week for seven sessions, will be held on May 9. The participants will be given a passport, which will be stamped for every country they visit.
On May 11, Champak Children’s Hour, a storytelling session for kids aged between five and 12, will take place at Inorbit Mall.
For the first time ever, Landmark is going to present a remote control Helicopter Flying Challenge where you can test your flying skills, and win exciting prizes. It will take place on May 13 and contestants will need to bring their own remote control helicopters. This carnival continues all the way until June.
