New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that a draft bill for statehood of the national capital was ready.
"Draft bill for statehood of Delhi ready. Will be soon placed in public domain for comments and suggestions from the public," the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader said in a tweet.
Kejriwal has been batting for full statehood for Delhi, claiming the move will help him implement his plans better in the city.
