On his official Twitter account, he said...
#UdtaPunjabCensored What else cud one expect in Modi regime?— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) June 8, 2016
Earlier, Kejriwal had accused Nihlani of delaying the release of the film on the instructions of the BJP.
Pahlaj Nihlani's statement makes it amply clear that he has stopped the film on BJP's instructions— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) June 8, 2016
'Udta Punjab' is slated for release on June 17.
The Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh starrer movie that delves into how the youth in Punjab have succumbed to drugs has also unleashed political sparring prompting Kashyap to ask parties to stay away from the censorship row.
