Yami Gautam has written a Facebook post on how she is affected by the Hrithik Roshan-Kangana Ranaut controversy and has come out in support of her 'Kaabil' co-star

'As a woman this terrifies me' says Yami Gautam and defends Hrithik Roshan

"There is no trophy at the end of this, no victory, no apology. It's just a sad tale," said Hrithik Roshan in an interview to a reputed news channel. Roshan, who maintained a 'dignified' silence all this time in the Kangana Ranaut feud, had alleged in being in a romantic relationship with Hrithik.

While Kangana has been very vocal about the issue since the past few odd years, Hrithik has now decided to take on the matter and has been giving interviews to various media outlets. He claims that this is 'not a lover's spat'. Bollywood insiders Twinkle Khanna, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Farhan Akhtar amongst others have commented on the issue on social media. Their views surprisingly have been quite partisan.

However, his peers and friends started commenting in the public domain only after Hrithik spoke for himself on Twitter via his statement. After Farhan made a significant post on Facebook about the Hrithik-Kangana spat, Hrithik's 'Kaabil' co-actress Yami Gautam has also taken the social media route to pen an open letter.

In one of his interviews, Hrithik mentioned that he doesn't meet his co-stars one-on-one. "I have never met her one on one, not once. I haven't met Yami (Gautam), Ronit or Rohit one on one. So it is not so unbelievable," emphasized Hrithik.

Yami's post doesn't name either Hrithik or Kangana, but addresses them as "two of the biggest stars in our industry" and states the purpose of writing this letter "as a woman and a concerned citizen." She stresses on the fact that it shouldn't be considered as a 'gender-war'. This is the full post
