Apart from acting, Asin is passionate about travelling something very evident by the number of foreign trips she makes in a calendar year. The actress was recently holidaying in Prague with her friends.

She says, “I had always heard so much about the Czech capital that I ultimately decided to take a break with my friends. She adds, “I always travel light even when I go for my shootings abroad. I can then shop a lot and bring back a lot of stuff to remind me of my trip.
I stayed in a boutique hotel near the Prague Palace. l loved the city. There is a kind of old-world charm to the place. You can just sit at small cafes along the roads and see the world pass by. The place is filled with pubs
Food is one thing that I always try out when I go to a new place. While in Prague, I tried out this dish called goulash. It is a kind of stew made of noodles, seasoned with paprika and other spices.
It is a signature dish there. In fact one of my friends after having it said it tastes similar to vettai-appam which is a South Indian dish. She was definitely homesick. How could she find similarities between these two dishes which are poles apart!
One fun thing that I did was to indulge in segway rides. You just have to stand on it and use your body weight pressure to make it go ahead or behind. Initially I had just taken it for a small ride, but I got so comfortable on it that I took it on rent for an entire day and went around the city on it.
