Haryana: By winning the Hisar Lok Sabha constituency seat in Haryana, Dushyant Chautala of the Indian National Lok Dal has become the youngest MP in the country.

Chautala represents the fourth generation of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal.


Born on April 3, 1988, in Hisar, Dushyant is the grandson of former Haryana Chief Minister Omprakash Chautala and the son of MLA Ajay Singh Chautala.

He filed his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections at the age of 25 years and 11 months and was chosen as a member of the country's largest panchayat at the age of 26 years and 1 month.
