Aspiring Australia Test opener Ed Cowan has developed the reputation of a distinguished writer. So, do his teammates ever give him any feedback on his writing, "Yes, they do. They happen to love it," he says.

And, how about the times when he has written something against one of his mates? "I show them the articles before I send it to ESPNCricinfo (the website he writes for) Also, I have to get every article cleared by Cricket Australia before they are published.
"Even before I wrote my book 'In the Firing Line' I sent each and every article to all my Australian teammates across the country. I wouldn't publish them otherwise. Even if I do play the Boxing Day Test (or get into the squad), I'd be sharing with them everything I write," an honest Cowan says.
Cowan is a lover of India. "I love your country -- I've been to Bangalore, Mumbai, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and so many other places. The people are so nice there," says the southpaw.
The sport can do with more such blokes -- who are penning down words even while playing competitive cricket.
