Left-arm spinner Agar was a shock inclusion in the Australia XI on Wednesday at Trent Bridge, completing a remarkable rise through the ranks by usurping Nathan Lyon in the side.

The nineteen-year-old number 11 Ashton Agar played one of the great Ashes innings on debut yesterday with a remarkable 98 from 101 balls.
