Melbourne: Germany's Angelique Kerber, who attempts to beat Serena Williams in today's Australian Open final, stressed the pressure is on the American.

"Nothing to lose means I can go out there and try to play like I'm playing, without pressure, without nothing," said the 28-year-old, who sent two-time champion Victoria Azarenka packing on her way to the decider.

However, Williams warned: "I would say this is probably the best Slam I've played in a year, and I've won a lot in a year."
