The 36-year-old actor, who was apparently intoxicated at the time of the incident on Saturday, had to be subdued with pepper spray. The 'Avatar' and 'Clash of Titans' star was charged with disorderly conduct but the charge was dismissed in court later.
Worthington had a fight with a doorman at the Vortex bar and grill when he was turned away for being verbally abusive and apparently intoxicated, according to a police report obtained by Celebuzz.com.
The doorman, Jerry Link, told police the actor, identified as 'Mr Samuel' in the report, "pushed him twice with his hands. At that time Link pepper-sprayed the actor and handcuffed him until the police arrived," according to the officer's report.
The charges were dropped against the actor when Link declined to appear in court. Worthington is in Atlanta filming Arnold Schwarzenegger's new film 'Ten', which also co-stars Terrance Howard, Josh Holloway and Joe Manganiello.
