A source says, "Bhumi received good reviews for her performance in 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha', her debut film. Although she has been offered a few films, she seems to be biding her time. Sameer recently approached her with his script and is planning to bring back the Bhumi-Ayushmann jodi in his next.
"It is learnt that Abhay Deol may also star in the film which is likely to go on floors next month. Another source says, "It is an interesting script and requires two actors who share an unusual chemistry — just like they did in their first film. The final call on the casting for the lead pair and a third actor will be taken in a few days and an official announcement will follow."
While Ayushmann was not available for comment, Bhumi's spokesperson and Sameer denied the news.
