Azam Khan more dangerous than Dawood Ibrahim: Shiv Sena

Referring to Azam Khan's reported statements on Paris attack and Babri mosque, Shiv Sena on Tuesday alleged the SP leader was more dangerous than Dawood Ibrahim, as it asked him to 'learn a lesson' from AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi who the party said has never spoken against the interest of the country.

"Azam Khan had said that if Babri Masjid was not 'martyred', bomb blasts would not have taken place in Mumbai. This means he supported the Mumbai bomb blasts. Even at the time of Paris carnage, Khan had supported terrorists by saying it is a result of action taken by European nations in Syria," the party said in an edit in party mouthpiece 'Saamana'.

"If we have such snakes and scorpions within our country, we do not need external enemies. Before talking about fighting Pakistan, people like Azam Khan should be straightened. Dawood will be brought back from Pakistan sometime or the other, but people like Azam Khan are doing more dangerous activities in the country than the underworld don," it said.

The Sena said that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is more temperate than Khan and that Owaisi has never spoken against the interest of the country.

"Owaisi takes a balanced approach to situations and Azam Khan should learn a lesson from him. He should make it clear what does he mean when he say Babri Masjid was martyred. Babar was a foreign attacker who destroyed the Ram mandir. Even Azam Khan will not be able to answer from when Ram's Ayodhya became Babar's," it said.
