Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D'Cruz and Esha Gupta will be hitting the road for the shoot of their upcoming film, 'Baadshaho'. Director Milan Luthria leaves for Rajasthan today to finalise locations in what he describes a 'free recce' of Rajasthan. A major chunk of the film will be shot in that state.

Says Luthria, "We will be living out of suitcases and travelling from location to location."

This means, the actors will have to rough it out and travel extensively for the shoot.

Since Rajasthan's landscape has been explored numerous times in Bollywood, the filmmaker is keen on finding virgin locales for the shoot.

"We are scouring the far-flung and the not-too-accessible spots in the northern and western parts of the state. They have to be rugged. The pre-recce has been going on for three months. Thousands of pictures have been exchanged of the various locations. Several photographers have been on field," he says.

Luthria, who shot Kachche Dhaage (1999) in Rajasthan, believes in detailing like he has done in his other films including the John Abraham and Nana Patekar-starrer Taxi No 9211 (2006) and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (2010) that had Mumbai as its setting.

"The location also helps narrate the story," he says.

Baadshaho goes on the floors next month with an initial brief schedule in a Mumbai studio followed by a long and extensive Rajasthan schedule.
