Festivals offer the perfect opportunity to show off your pretty costumes. If you want to sport those backless Cholis with elan, you need a toned back. The city offers a host of treatments that are targetted towards enhancing your back, be it in the form of back facials or back spas.

The back facials can be beneficial in cleansing those tough-to-reach spots, targetted a variety of skin care needs such as clogged pores, back acne, and dehydrated skin. It mimics many of the techniques used for the face, and incorporates deep cleansing, extractions, and purifying masks.
Dr Madhuri Agrawal, head medical services at Kaya Skin said, “As the festival and wedding season is here, a lot of girls opt for back facials. This helps in removing acne from the skin and reducing pigmentation marks. We also have microdermabrasion which are a type of skin polish which help in reducing dead skin.”
Tequeela Salon and Day Spa at Koregaon Park said that they offer anti-tan treatments, strawberry back facials, and treatment for sensitive skin. The facials cost between Rs 800 to Rs 1,500.” Aside from beauty treatments there are certain daily measures that one can take as well.
Agrawal explains, “One must regularly apply sunscreen lotion to the back to keep it tan-free. Also, one can opt for home tips such as mixing honey with sugar and gently applying it to the back. The sugar will help with exfoliation and honey will work as a natural moisturiser. Also, one can mix oat powder with raw milk and apply on the back. Oats help remove the dead skin and raw milk will help lighten your skin. It costs approximately Rs 2,500- Rs 3,000.”
Poonam Sharma, owner of Head To Toes Hair And Beauty Salon said that this is the season when the back facials and back spas are in trend. “This helps the girls wear backless dresses and blouses for Navratri and other seasons.” Their facials are priced between Rs 850 to Rs 4,000.
